Choose the right band size for your vision and budget.
Whether you’re hosting a backyard soirée or a black-tie bash, we’re here to help you find the perfect band for your event. From a 3 piece to a 14 piece, our band is completely customisable. Small or low key cocktail events where conversation is the focus may only need a 3-4 piece instrumental group to play jazz and pop covers as background music. Or, to get your guests feet moving, choose a 5+ piece band. A blowout bash of 300+ guests may call for a 9-14 piece band that will bring the energy. Genre also matters when selecting a band size, especially if horns are needed to properly perform a song. Plus, a band with multiple lead singers, both male and female, will be able to perform a greater variety of tunes. We’re an all inclusive band, which means we can perform for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even DJ your after party! Throw an incredible party.
For weddings, other than actually getting married of course (!), our clients tell us they’re most excited to throw an amazing party! We’ve performed at so many events and have picked up tons of great tips for ensuring your guests have the most fun possible. To maximise energy and dancing and to get the most out of your band, we recommend keeping speeches concise and personal stories for the rehearsal dinner. Lengthy formalities should take place at the start of the night while guests are seated. Once they’re on the dance floor, we want to keep them there! If applicable, ask your venue to place the bars in the main room near the stage or have waiters offer your signature cocktails, late night snacks, or champagne on the dance floor itself. When you separate the dance floor from the beverages, you are almost certain to split the party in half.
